Did a nice 7 mile hike on a sunny but crispy day (about 45 degrees)), with a total ascend of 163 Feet!! The trail goes past the largest waterfall in the Country, as well as two smaller waterfalls. The Fall colors are diminishing but still beautiful. About two thirds on the way, I ran into two very large mushrooms. Right after that, the forest opened up to a large area with lots of heather, which will be beautiful in the spring/summer when they bloom.
